About Akko
Hi, I’m Akko — a UI/UX Design Director who has always been a little obsessed with making things better. Not in a dramatic, world-saving kind of way… more like the kind of person who can’t leave a clunky interface alone because surely it can feel smoother than this.
My journey started with one simple question:
“How can this be better?”
Turns out that question never stopped following me — and honestly, I’m glad it didn’t.
I’ve spent years shaping digital experiences, guiding products from fuzzy ideas to clean, intuitive flows that actually make people smile. I believe good design should feel effortless, and I get a ridiculous amount of joy from seeing a complicated mess transform into something simple and beautifully functional.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t just want to design things —
I wanted to build them too.
So I started creating my own apps. Small ones at first, then bigger, stranger, more ambitious ones. Ideas that wouldn’t leave me alone until I turned them into something real. And once I got a taste of making things work for real users, I couldn’t stop.
That curiosity naturally expanded into plugins and tools — tiny helpers that smooth workflows, fix annoyances, or add a spark of delight to everyday tasks. I love that blend of design intuition and hands-on tinkering, where I can shape both the vision and the mechanism behind it.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m part designer, part maker, part person-who-stays-up-too-late-trying-to-perfect-a-detail-no-one-else-will-notice. I explore, I experiment, and I constantly chase that feeling when something finally “clicks.”
Thanks for stopping by and reading my little story.
If you ever want to talk design, apps, plugins, or just share something cool you’re building — I’m always happy to chat.
